Have you started to employ imaging functionality in your Firm? If not, it might be time!
Yes, we've talked about this topic before - and there's a reason why it's coming up again. Imaging can drastically improve efficiency in your Firm.
The process of scanning and archiving electronic documents (i.e., imaging) can be well worth the investment. Eliminating the need for square footage for storage is a significant dollar saver, but imaging also makes retrieval so much easier. When you spend less time looking for a document, you can spend more time on bigger priorities.
Rippe & Kingston incorporates imaging features throughout its LMS software...allowing for convenient attachment and access of PDF images (e.g., a check, a W9, a contract, a receipt, etc.). While a walk to a filing cabinet seems minimal, the minutes it takes can add up quickly. In comparison, you can retrieve an image within LMS in mere seconds.
Important information is at your fingertips with LMS and imaging!

Legal Management Systems: Client/Matter Minding
Have you evaluated the status of your current Clients lately? Rippe & Kingston's LMS+ Client/Matter Minding Watchlist might be a good place to start!
It's quite possible that there are Clients you haven't contacted for some time and could benefit from a visit, a lunch, or even a quick phone call. The Client/Matter Minding Watchlist, also available at the Firm level, can give you the insight at a glance of which Clients you have recently contacted - and more importantly - the ones you have not!
Very simply, the Minding Watchlist display allows you to quickly determine and identify those Clients that have not been contacted within a reasonable amount of time. We define contact by the existence of a time entry for a Client or Matter, and the last time posted date is the key factor in this analysis.
It's important to effectively manage and mind (and thereby grow) your current Clients and Matters. Consider employing the Client/Matter Minding Watchlist to help you do just that!

Legal Management Systems: Rippe & Kingston Holds Pink Apparel Day
Over the past several years, Rippe & Kingston has hosted an annual Pink Apparel Day!
On Friday, October 7th R&K employees were invited to wear pink at the
office and make a donation to Susan G. Komen, an
organization that strives to end breast cancer forever through ground-breaking
research and community health outreach programs.
The Rippe & Kingston staff enjoyed Pink
Apparel Day,
as it was a rewarding experience to come together as
a collective effort to honor survivors and contribute to finding the
cure. Donations for Susan G. Komen were also collected for the
remainder of the month.
'Jeans for a Cause' Initiative: The Rippe & Kingston staff enjoy coming together as a collective effort to give back to the community. Each month, donations are collected for a chosen foundation or cause suggested by the employees. Those who participate can opt to wear jeans on Fridays.
