Time for Timekeeping discussion from last week, we’re talking about Rippe & Kingston's Full
Day Accounting.
Yes we’ve mentioned it before, and it’s simply because we
cannot stress its importance enough.
Timekeeping is a discipline, and Full Day Accounting
requires the Attorneys to account for the entire day (Billable and
Non-billable).
Full Day Accounting allows Attorneys to view their entire day
at a glance. The timekeeper can ensure that there aren’t
gaps in the day that are actually billable. The example above clearly shows that the Attorney has not yet entered time (very likely that it is billable time) for certain parts of the day.
